Job description:

As a Sales Analyst you will focus on analysing the sales data for DocFox Africa to develop strategies that improve productivity for the organisation. You will also be responsible for analysing current market trends, collecting data, reviewing current customers, and creating detailed reports.


  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams as well as contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
  • Develop sales projections and forecasts by analysing data within the sales management tool.
  • Proactive learning and education of our product content guides, and services provided by the business to ensure we are always providing potential customers with accurate information. 
  • Examine monthly, quarterly, and annual sales to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations, and compiling reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Assess market data, including competitors, to identify areas where the company can increase its efforts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align efforts with sales conversions and trends identified that need to be addressed.
  • Continue to maintain excellent relationships with the sales and leadership team. 
  • Take ownership of enhancements to the sales management tool to better equip the tracking and analysis of sales activities.


  • Completed Degree (commerce or technical).
  • Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • High level of organisation and detail-orientation
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communicator, verbal and written – with a passion for sales.
  • Excellent presentation skills to individuals and groups.
  • Proven ability to build new relationships quickly (across levels).
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently without micro-management but is also a team player.
  • Ideal candidate would have worked in a startup / small business /or has had exposure in a strategic consulting space and is looking for a new career challenge.
  • Ideal candidates would have some experience or knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Ideal candidates would have sold computer software to businesses, preferably SaaS software.
  • Ideal candidate has humble confidence and an energy for excellence.
  • Ideal candidate is smart and a fast learner.
